    Fort Scott, Bourbon County continues to grow and the VCF has been tasked to fill needed jobs.  Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.  Students, those with priort contractor skills, general labor, all are encouraged to inquire. Single and Multile family housing currently under development, skilled trades, weekly pay.

    Self Relience and Better Food Cold Storage.  The VCF working with Kansaas manufacturers have begun to assist with local cold fresh food storage options for those areas in need.

    Retail stores, food hubs, food pantries and municipalites will have an opportunity to use portable cold storage units, to immediately increase Cold Fresh Food storage capaicity, as well as particiapate in the use of a Rapid Disaster Repsonse for neighboring communities.



    City Wood Waste converted to fuel farm growth.  Improving on our goal of Self-Reliance in agriculture.  Using fallen tree branches and wood waste that would end up in a city landfill, VCF working with private contributors seeks to create a working model using wood a fuel for growing food.


    Veteran Center Foundation goal is to be a resource for veterans and the community by providing access to in person services that will lead to better employment opportunities.  


    Veteran Center Foundation operates through partnerships with local organizations and volunteers to implement sustainable development projects. Business sponsorships, funding from farm produce sales and donations.
